TEACHING PERSONNEL ARE LOOKING FOR A QUALIFIED, PASSIONATE AND PROFESSIONAL SECONDARY ENGLISH TEACHER TO WORK FULL TIME IN AN "OUTSTANDING" SCHOOL IN COVENTRY. 

Hours: Full time

Start date: ASAP

Pay: To Scale

Location: Coventry, CV6

The successful candidate will:

• Be a fully qualified teacher and hold a UK QTS (qualified teacher status)
• Have successfully completed a teacher training programme, including PGCE and Schools Direct
• Have experience and a proven track record teaching English Language and English Literature within UK secondary schools
• Have relevant experience working with children with special educational needs or any additional learning needs
• Be a confident presence at the front of the classroom and be able to manage behaviour effectively
• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to a range of ages, adapting the lessons to suit individual needs within the class
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, pupils and parents
• Regularly track pupil progress and assess their learning through various forms of assessment
• Provide timely feedback which informs pupils of their progress, highlighting areas of strength and areas to improve upon

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
