English Tutors Needed in Keyworth (NG12) for One-on-One Support.

Are you experienced in supporting children with special needs? Seeking a rewarding one-on-one tutoring role outside traditional school settings? This could be perfect for you!

Position Details:

  • Location: Keyworth (NG12)
  • Focus: Primary/Secondary -aged children potetnially with SEN (ASD, SEMH, PMLD)
  • Settings: Homes, care facilities, local libraries
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, approximately between 08:00 - 16:00

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored English support to children with SEN
  • Design resources and activities for individual learning needs
  • Engage children effectively and ensure curriculum accessibility
  • Implement behavior management strategies
  • Maintain a positive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience in SEN support (teaching, teaching assistant, or one-on-one settings)
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging sessions
  • Skills in fostering confidence and learning progress
  • Experience managing challenging behaviors
  • Ability to assess and provide feedback on learning outcomes
  • Current DBS certificate (update service registered) or willingness to obtain one (assistance available)
