An English Tutor is required to provide high-quality educational support to students in South East England, specifically in Berkshire, Reading. The role is temporary and expected to be part-time, with the hourly rate ranging from £20 to £30.

  • Deliver engaging English lessons tailored to the individual needs of students
  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Develop and implement educational activities to enhance students' language skills
  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to ensure inclusive learning
  • Relevant qualification in English Language or Education
  • Demonstrated experience in tutoring or teaching English

A degree in English Language, Education, or a related field

Prior experience in tutoring or teaching English, especially to students with diverse learning needs

  • Strong understanding of English grammar, literature, and language acquisition
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

The English Tutor will work in a classroom or one-on-one setting, providing support to students during scheduled hours. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate students' needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
