Salary: £20 - £30 per hour

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English language lessons to students
  • Assess students' language abilities and create individualised learning plans
  • Provide support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed
  • Collaborate with other educators and parents to ensure student success

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an English tutor
  • Strong knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, and literature
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English or related field
  • Teaching qualification is desirable

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience teaching English to students of varying levels
  • Experience working with students with SEN is highly preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans
  • Strong understanding of different teaching methodologies
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to learn
  • Proficiency in using educational technology in teaching

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time hours, flexible schedule
  • Work primarily in educational institutions or private tutoring settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
