  • Provide one-to-one English tutoring sessions to students
  • Develop customised lesson plans based on students' needs
  • Assist students in improving their English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to enhance learning outcomes
  • Adapt teaching methods to cater to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) experience
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Previous experience in tutoring or teaching English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to tailor teaching methods to individual student requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field

Prior experience in tutoring or teaching English, especially to students with SEN

  • Knowledge of English language teaching methodologies
  • Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
  • Understanding of SEN and experience in adapting teaching methods accordingly
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent)
  • Additional qualifications in Special Education or SEN
  • Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
  • Work with students in a one-to-one setting
  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
