Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide one-on-one English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) tutoring to Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC)
  • Create individualised lesson plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Monitor and report on student attendance and performance
  • Collaborate with other educational professionals to support student learning and development
  • Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CELTA, TEFL)
  • Experience working with UASC or vulnerable learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Previous experience in teaching ESOL to diverse student populations
  • Experience in creating and implementing lesson plans
  • Knowledge of ESOL teaching methodologies and techniques
  • Understanding of the needs of UASC learners
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Experience working in a similar role within the education sector
  • Work primarily in a learners home setting
  • Potential travel to different locations within the East of England region

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
