Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Deliver high-quality English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) tuition to Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC).
  • Develop lesson plans and appropriate learning materials to support students' language development.
  • Assess students' language proficiency and progress, providing feedback to help them improve.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results.
  • Teaching qualification in ESOL or equivalent.
  • Experience working with UASC or similar vulnerable groups.
  • Knowledge of UK educational standards and regulations.

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching ESOL to diverse student groups.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Postgraduate qualification in TESOL or related field.
  • Experience working in a multicultural education setting.

The role involves working with vulnerable young people and may require some flexibility in working hours to accommodate students' needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
