  • Provide English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) instruction to Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC)
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of UASC
  • Assess students' language proficiency and progress
  • Provide feedback and support to help students improve their English language skills
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Qualified ESOL teacher with relevant certifications
  • Experience working with UASC or vulnerable young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching ESOL to diverse student populations

  • Knowledge of ESOL teaching methodologies and best practises
  • Understanding of the needs and challenges faced by UASC
  • Ability to create engaging and effective learning materials
  • Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
  • Qualification in TESOL or related field
  • Experience working in a multicultural and multilingual environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
