Teaching Personnel are recruiting a cohort of organised and focussed individuals to fill the needs of several of our secondary schools across Pontypridd throughout the upcoming exam season starting imminently.

 

Pay: £12.83p/hr

Hours: Flexible (dates and times of exams vary daily)

What an exam invigilator does:

  • Remains vigilant and aware throughout an exam.
  • Provide instruction and enforce rules about exam conditions.
  • Distribute and collect exam papers, materials, and equipment to pupils.
  • Ensure pupils remain focussed and concentrated during exams.

 

Key characteristics of an exam invigilator:

  • Professional
  • Confident communicator
  • Able to maintain concentration
  • Observant

 

Experience of working in a secondary school is not essential but would be beneficial to understanding the nature of exams and exam conditions.

All Teaching Personnel staff must hold an Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service & have completed the free Level 2 safeguarding course provided by Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
