With exam season fast approaching, exam invigilation is the perfect flexible role around your schedule and earn some money for Summer!

 

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for several exam invigilation roles in preparation for the forthcoming GCSE and A-Level exam season in May & June 2024.

 

The role would see you working in a variety of schools across the Cardiff area as an invigilator meaning you must remain vigilant and aware throughout each exam. You will have full control of your working diary, meaning you can select the days & times you are available to work and how far you are able to travel to work.

 

Highlights of the Exam Invigilator role:

  • Flexible role where there are morning and afternoon examinations.
  • Pay is from £12.82 per hour.
  • Ensure students are staying on task and silent during examinations.
  • Distribute and collect exam papers & additional equipment.
  • Ensure pupils remain focussed and concentrated during examinations, adhering to examination conditions.

 

Person Specification for an Exam Invigilator:

  • Professional
  • Confident
  • Able to maintain concentration
  • Experience in a secondary school isn’t needed but is preferred, as this would help with your familiarity with the role
  • Compassion and honesty towards students
  • Enhanced DBS check
