DT Technician
We are seeking an experienced DT Technician to join a well-established and thriving school in Carshalton, Surrey. Responsibilities:
- Support the Design and Technology department in delivering high-quality lessons in Product Design, Resistant Materials, Construction, and Engineering.
- Prepare, maintain, and organize tools, equipment, and materials for practical lessons.
- Assist teachers and students during practical sessions, ensuring safety and effective use of resources.
- Manage inventory and procurement of materials and equipment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a school or educational setting.
- Strong technical skills in Product Design, Resistant Materials, Construction, and Engineering.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teaching staff.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in a workshop environment.
