I am seeking an SEN Maths Teacher!

Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Maths Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated professional to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 Maths, including GCSE-level, at a specialist education facility. 

A successful residential special school catering to young people aged 11-19 with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other associated conditions.

The students typically have high-functioning autism, and the school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports their individual needs and learning styles.

With small class sizes (maximum 7 students) and dedicated teaching assistant support, you’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team across Education, Care, and Therapeutic services. O

  • Design and implement tailored individual and small group programs that cater to students’ specific needs

  • Use creative and adaptive teaching strategies to engage students with complex needs
  • Help students develop academically and socially, fostering a positive learning environment
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong background in Maths
  • Experience teaching students with SEN, particularly those with Autism or other learning difficulties
  • Knowledge of the Maths National Curriculum, with experience teaching up to GCSE level
  • A flexible, creative, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
