EYFS 1:1 support

As a 1:1 primary school teaching assistant you will play a crucial role in the education and emotional development of a child with SEN. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO you will create a inclusive, positive working environment for the pupil to thrive in.

Key responsibilities:

- Provide 1:1 support for a specific pupil

- Collaboratively work with the SENCO and class teacher

- Forster a nurturing and supportive learning environment

- Support the pupil to enhance their social and emotional wellbeing

Experience:

-          Previous experience working with challenging behaviour e.g.  support/ youth work

-          Understanding of different strategies to implement

-          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-          Nurturing, kind and patient nature

-          Positive attitude
