Teaching Personnel are looking for an ambitious and talented Primary Teaching Assistant to join one of our schools in the Darlington area. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for full time employment. The role starts in November 2024 through to the end of the academic year, with potential of extending further.

The school are looking to employ an enthusiastic TA who is willing to help their pupils flourish in their learning and connect with those who at times can be slightly disengaged. The school have received a minimum of ‘GOOD’ up to ‘OUTSTANDING’ reports in previous years from Ofsted and have been highlighted for their great school ethos and culture.

  • Offer fantastic support in extracurricular activities to help pupils excel further in their learning and personal development.

The Role:

  • Long term cover starting from November 2024 through December 2024 (potential to be extended)
  • Supporting EYFS/Receptionin learning to high standards in order to help pupils reach their potential.
  • Experience with SEND is desirable but not a requirement.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Experience Supporting Teaching and Learning in a Primary School environment
  • Strong knowledge of KS1 curriculum
