  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) students
  • Assisting with the planning and preparation of learning activities
  • Providing one-to-one support for students with additional learning needs
  • Helping to create a safe and nurturing learning environment
  • Assisting with assessment and record-keeping
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or Level 2 Childcare qualification
  • Enhanced DBS check

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent

Prior experience working with young children in an educational setting

  • Understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills
  • First Aid certification
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs

This role involves working within a school setting, following school hours and term times. The successful candidate may need to support outdoor learning activities and be prepared to assist with physical tasks related to the care of young children.
