EYFS Teaching Assistant Required at a Primary School in Poulton-le-Fylde (FY6)

Start date: Monday 2nd December 2024. 

Contract type: Full time (Mon-Fri), Temporary

Teaching Personnel are working with a client school in Poulton-le-Fylde (FY6) area to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join their EYFS team. The position will run Monday- Friday till the end of the academic year, with potential to be extended for another year. To be considered for this role, experience working in an education setting is required and EYFS experience is beneficial. You must be dedicated to supporting learning, display an optimistic attitude and encourage children’s learning and development continually. This 1 form entry School is looking for a TA that can build strong relationships with staff, and parents in a supported environment. The school are looking for a dedicated practitioner to provide support across the EYFS.

Responsibilities may include, delivering small group activities in phonics, teacher support and interventions where necessary.

Role Requirements:

• Passion for supporting children's development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of EYFS curriculum.
• Relevant qualifications or experience in early years education.
• Level 2 Teaching assistant
