A well-established and thriving primary school in Reading is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join their permanent staff team starting in September 2024. Rated GOOD by Ofsted, this school is committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons for EYFS students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic growth of each child.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to meet individual learning needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members, parents, and carers to support student development and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and stay current with educational trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching within the EYFS framework.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and the ability to deliver it effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and engage with the wider school community.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and a willingness to embrace new challenges.
