Are you a passionate and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) specialist looking for an exciting new opportunity? A thriving primary school in central Plymouth is seeking a dedicated EYFS teacher to join their team and make a positive impact on young learners.

We are looking for an enthusiastic EYFS Specialist Teacher to work within a welcoming and supportive primary school. This position will start as soon as possible and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year, with the opportunity for the successful candidate to transition to a direct contract with the school.

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Plan and implement engaging lessons that foster a love for learning and meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring effective use of EYFS assessment frameworks.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support children's development.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in EYFS teaching.
  • A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
