An esteemed primary school in Sunderland is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join their permanent staff list from November 2024. The school prides itself on fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The EYFS Teacher will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons that cater to the needs of young learners.
  • Creating a safe and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and development.
  • Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress, providing feedback and support to ensure each child achieves their potential.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the holistic development of children.
  • Contributing to the school's ethos and values, promoting a positive and inclusive culture.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent EYFS teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in teaching Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to nurturing young minds.
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the wider school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
