Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? A highly regarded Ofsted-rated Outstanding Primary School in Ipswich is seeking an EYFS teacher to join their permanent staff team from January 2025. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum, ensuring all pupils are supported and challenged to reach their milestones.
  • Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes a love of learning and development in all areas, including social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Assess and track pupil progress, using formative and summative assessments to inform planning and interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the EYFS team, parents, and external professionals to support the holistic development of every child.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in staff meetings, development initiatives, and school events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with specific training or experience in Early Years Education.
  • A deep understanding of the EYFS framework and child development, with experience of successfully implementing this in a school setting.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning, demonstrated by strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage young learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A passion for nurturing young children’s growth, creativity, and well-being.
  • Previous experience in an Outstanding or Good-rated school is desirable but not essential.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practices.
