A vibrant, Ofsted-rated GOOD primary school in Cambridge is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Teacher to join their permanent teaching staff from January 2025, or earlier if possible. The school is committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive and achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a Reception class, delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences that engage, inspire, and challenge children in their early years of education. This is a full-time position, offering a unique opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
  • Proven experience working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception or Nursery).
  • A thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum and the ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of all pupils.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse workload.
  • A passion for early childhood education and a dedication to fostering a positive, enriching learning environment.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a similar role within a primary school setting.
  • Knowledge of current Ofsted standards and requirements.
  • A proactive approach to continuous professional development.
