About Us: Teaching Personnel is a leading education recruitment agency, specialising in connecting talented individuals with rewarding roles in the education sector. We are working in partnership with multiple primary schools located in Oldham. Committed to providing high-quality education, one of our schools is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the EYFS teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Support the development and learning of children in the Early Years age group.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support as needed.
  • Help create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the well-being and progress of all students.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Teaching Assistance or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working in an Early Years setting is desirable.
  • Passion for supporting the educational and social development of young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Additional Requirements: Candidates without an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification are welcome to apply if they are willing to work towards one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
