About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team in Preston. This full-time position, starting in September, offers a wonderful chance to be a part of a dynamic early years setting, helping children develop and grow during these crucial early stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate learning activities
  • Providing individual and group support to children
  • Encouraging social, emotional, and educational development
  • Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
  • Monitoring and documenting children’s progress and milestones
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support each child's development

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young children in an educational setting is highly desirable
  • A genuine passion for early years education and child development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, creativity, and a nurturing attitude
  • Relevant qualifications or training in early years education (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
