Salary: £83.95 - £95 Per day

  • Supporting the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teachers in implementing educational programmes and activities
  • Assisting with the planning and preparation of learning materials
  • Providing support to individual children to help them develop their social, emotional, and educational skills
  • Supervising children during playtime and ensuring their safety at all times
  • Assisting with record-keeping and documentation of children's progress
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
  • Valid DBS check
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • First Aid certification
  • Additional training in child development or safeguarding
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Working hours may vary but are typically full-time during school hours
  • Work is primarily indoors within a school setting
  • May involve some physical activity such as assisting children during playtime

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
