Education and Training

£83.95 - £95 Per day

  • Supporting the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning activities
  • Assisting in the planning and preparation of lessons and learning materials
  • Providing support to individual children and small groups during class activities
  • Helping to create a stimulating and safe learning environment for young children
  • Assisting with the assessment of children's progress and development
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding children's learning and well-being
  • Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare or relevant field
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification (desirable)

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Prior experience working with young children in an educational setting

  • Understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with children
  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
  • Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs
  • Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension
  • Working in a busy and dynamic early years educational environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
