Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
  • Plan and organize sports activities, intramural events, and inter-school competitions.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their physical development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the PE department, encouraging students to participate and excel.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other areas of the curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field.
  • Teaching qualification/certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Experience working as a PE Teacher, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for promoting health, fitness, and well-being among students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
