Seeking Tutors, Teachers, and TAs in Clifton (NG11) for 1:1 Tuition Roles in June 2024

Are you a dedicated education professional in Clifton (NG11)? We are looking for passionate Tutors, Teachers, and Teaching Assistants interested in providing 1:1 tuition starting in June 2024.

We offer a variety of tuition roles tailored to students who are outside mainstream school settings. Some students require support in core subjects, while others need engagement-focused tuition to help build relationships and foster learning.

We collaborate with a diverse range of Local Authorities and independent provisions, including:

  • Virtual Schools (for Looked After Children)
  • SEN teams for pupils with EHCPs
  • SEN teams for pupils without EHCPs but no school placement
  • Specialist independent provisions for SEN pupils

Tuition typically takes place in students' homes, care homes, or public libraries.

We are looking for tutors who:

  • Are passionate about making a difference for vulnerable young people
  • Seek part-time or full-time work
  • Have experience in planning and delivering engaging lessons in core subjects and other needed areas
  • Are experienced with SEN, including SEMH, anxiety, Autism, and ADHD
  • Are knowledgeable about Attachment Disorder and the impact of Childhood Trauma
  • Can confidently manage challenging behavior
  • Can engage and motivate disaffected pupils
  • Can work professionally with foster carers and residential home staff
  • Provide detailed feedback outlining student strengths and areas for development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
