Position: Flexible Cover Teacher
Location: SEN School, Salford
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Availability: Minimum of 3 days per week, with flexibility to work around your schedule

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Cover Teacher to join our SEN School in Salford. This flexible role allows you to work on a day-to-day basis, fitting in with your personal schedule while providing essential teaching support to students with Autism, ADHD, and other complex needs.

As a Cover Teacher, you’ll step in to lead classes, support learning activities, and help maintain a positive and inclusive environment. Your presence will be vital in ensuring continuity of learning and support for our students, even when regular teachers are unavailable.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience with SEN: Prior experience in an SEN setting is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of Autism, ADHD, and other complex needs.
  • Adaptability: Must be flexible and able to step into various classroom settings as needed.
  • Commitment: A positive attitude, strong classroom management skills, and a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • Flexibility: Must be available for at least 3 days per week, with the ability to adapt to varying schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide flexible cover teaching across different classes as required.
  • Implement and adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to maintain a supportive and engaging learning environment.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care.
