Are you a Tutor, Teacher, or Teaching Assistant based in Northampton area and interested in embarking on 1:1 tuition opportunities in 2024? If so, we want to connect with you!

We offer a diverse array of tuition positions catering to students who are currently outside the realm of mainstream education. Some require subject-specific assistance, typically in core subjects, while others benefit from engagement-focused tuition centered on relationship building.

Our clientele spans across various Local Authority Clients and independent provisions, including:

  • Virtual Schools (specifically catering to Looked After Children)
  • SEN teams supporting pupils with EHCP
  • SEN teams aiding pupils without EHCP but lacking school placement
  • Specialist independent provisions for SEN pupils

Tuition sessions commonly occur in the pupil's home, care facility, or within a public library setting.

We seek tutors who are:

  • Driven by a passion to positively impact vulnerable young individuals
  • Available for flexible working hours 
  • Skilled in crafting and delivering engaging lessons in core subjects and any other relevant subjects tailored to individual student needs
  • Experienced with SEN, such as SEMH, anxiety, Autism, and ADHD
  • Familiar with Attachment Disorder and knowledgeable about the effects of Childhood Trauma
  • Capable of effectively managing challenging behavior
  • Proficient in engaging disaffected students and encouraging their participation in education
  • Able to collaborate professionally with foster carers and residential home staff
  • Competent in providing comprehensive feedback outlining student strengths and areas for improvement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
