Barry – Teaching Assistant

  • Working across schools in Barry; supporting pupils in KS1 – KS4 with a range of additional needs

 

Due to an increased demand within Barry’s schools for sickness and absence cover, Teaching Personnel are looking to take on a flexible and proactive Teaching Assistant to provide flexible support when an extra pair of hands is needed.

This is a fantastic opportunity for both new and experienced Teaching Assistants to work flexibly around other commitments. You will be given access to an online diary via the ‘MyTP Work app’ which allows you to control when and where you are available for work.

Day to day your role will be varied and exciting, covering TAs who work with pupils with a range of additional needs and who have a varying level of abilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills as a Teaching Assistant and get your foot in the door of your local schools. Many of our Teaching Assistants go on to longer term and/or permanent roles within the schools that they support.

 

Additional Details:

  • No prior school experience needed, just a positive attitude and passion for helping young people to succeed!
  • Pay from £12.82/hr.
  • Level 2 CPD Safeguarding Training included.
  • Enhanced Child Only DBS & EWC Required (support with these provided).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
