Position Overview: As a Flexible Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of our students. You will work closely with classroom teachers to assist in delivering engaging lessons, providing one-on-one support to students, and contributing to the overall positive learning environment within the school.

Key Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistat:

  • Provide support to classroom teachers in preparing and delivering lessons.
  • Assist students with their learning, offering one-on-one support as needed.
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support students with special educational needs, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior support.
  • Contribute to the planning and preparation of educational materials and resources.
  • Collaborate effectively with other members of the educational team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a school setting or with children preferred.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting student learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups and subjects.
  • A proactive and positive attitude towards learning and development.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
