A highly respectable school in South Bristol are looking for a Food Technology with Art Teacher from September to aid them within their successful creative department!

The school are flexible in negotiating how much of the curriculum is spent on what topic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students of varying ages and abilities.
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for students and aid them in their journey of creativity and independence.
  • Provide guidance and support to students during practical art and cooking lessons, whilst maintaining a high standard.
  • Assess students to provide constructive criticism and encouragement, keep an up-to-date record pf the students achievements.
  • Collaborate with other members of staff to produce curriculum materials and assessment strategies.
  • Be knowledgeable of current trends and developments in technology and incorporate these and technology methods into your lessons.  
  • Promote healthy eating habits and highlight the importance of sustainable food practices.
