A highly regarded secondary school in Ilford, Essex, which has been rated as 'OUTSTANDING' by Ofsted, is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Teacher of Food Technology to join their dedicated team from September. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic educator who is passionate about imparting culinary skills and knowledge in a creative and engaging manner.

Responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
*Develop schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.
*Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
*Use relevant technology to support instruction.
*Observe and evaluate student performance and development.
*Provide appropriate feedback on work.
*Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students.
*Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
*Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by school laws and policies.
*Participate in department, school, and parent meetings.
*Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs.

Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*A degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
*Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level is highly desirable.
*Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and pedagogical approaches in Food Technology.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
*Good organizational and time-management skills.
*Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
*Ability to foster a stimulating, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
