Position: Food Technology Teacher
Salary: £30,000 – £46,525 per year (M1 to UPS3)
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: September 2024

  • Teach KS3 and KS4 Food Technology to students with varying abilities.
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging D&T lessons.
  • Create a mix of practical and theory-based lessons.
  • Get involved in a variety of extracurricular activities.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of the D&T curriculum and a passion for teaching Food Technology.
  • Effective behaviour management skills.
  • A child-only DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one (we can assist with this).
  • Two professional references from recent employment.
