Teaching Assistant, ALN Classroom Support

Role: Full Time until July 2025

Teaching Personnel are working with a large and well-established secondary school to take on a new Teaching Assistant for the next academic year (2024/2025).

The school are looking for a caring, dedicated and motivated TA to work specifically with their students with Additional Needs. These students work flexibly between the school’s Additional Needs Base and mainstream lessons, depending on their needs and goals. The successful member of staff will be required to work on a 1-2-1 basis with these learners, providing emotional, behavioural and academic support to create and maintain a positive learning environment for all.

 

** Previous Teaching Assistant experience is preferable, however candidates with backgrounds in Care, Support Work or any education-related role are also encouraged to apply **

 Interviews are being held in the coming weeks for this position, with the close date being July 1st, 2024.

 

Requirements: Staff working within the school are required to have an Enhanced Child Only DBS with Update Service registration and be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC). 2 Professional references will be required prior to starting this role, as well as a completed Level 2 Safeguarding Certificate (provided by Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
