Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, following the national curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and report on students' progress, helping them reach their full potential
  • Plan creative and differentiated lessons, ensuring that all students' needs are met
  • Work collaboratively with the English department and contribute to extra-curricular activities

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in English or a related field
  • Experience teaching English at the secondary level (KS3 and KS4)
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students
  • A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed
  • Enhanced DBS and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel)
