  • Deliver engaging and effective English and Maths functional skills outreach sessions to learners in the Greater London area.
  • Create tailored lesson plans and resources to meet the individual needs of learners.
  • Assess and monitor the progress of learners, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to enhance the quality of educational provision.
  • Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, progress, and outcomes.
  • Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of English and Maths functional skills curriculum.
  • Experience in delivering outreach education and working with diverse learner groups.

Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in English and Maths.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching English and Maths functional skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire learners to achieve their full potential.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, delivering outreach sessions in various locations within the Greater London area. The tutor may need to travel to different sites and adapt to different learning environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
