Education and Training

£20 - £30 per hour

  • Deliver high-quality English and Maths functional skills outreach sessions to a diverse range of learners
  • Develop and tailor teaching materials to meet the specific needs of each individual or group
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a coordinated and effective learning experience
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and progress reports

A recognised teaching qualification

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field

Previous experience in delivering English and Maths functional skills training

  • Strong understanding of curriculum development and delivery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds
  • Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning

Additional certifications in adult education or relevant subject areas

This role involves working on-site at students homes within the East of England. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate learners' schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
