Education and Training

£20 - £30 per hour

  • Deliver high-quality teaching of Functional Skills English and Maths to students
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the learning needs of individual students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) in English and Maths
  • Up-to-date knowledge of curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

At least 2 years of experience teaching Functional Skills English and Maths

  • Strong understanding of different teaching methods and strategies
  • Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs
  • Proficient in using technology to support teaching and learning
  • Additional teaching qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Experience working with adult learners
  • Work in a home setting
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Potential for occasional evening or weekend work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
