The GCSE English and Maths Outreach Tutor will be responsible for delivering high-quality tutoring in English and Maths to GCSE students. This includes planning and preparing engaging lessons, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs. The tutor will also support students in developing study skills, exam techniques, and confidence in their subject knowledge.

A relevant teaching qualification and experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths at the GCSE level. Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements is essential.

A degree in English, Maths, Education, or a related field is required.

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths to GCSE students.

Excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate and inspire students, strong organisational skills, and a passion for helping students succeed.

Additional qualifications in education, special educational needs (SEN) experience, or experience working with diverse student populations would be advantageous.

This role involves working with students in an educational setting, following a set timetable, and may require occasional evening or weekend work to accommodate students' schedules. The tutor will be expected to travel to different locations within the East of England region for outreach sessions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
