GCSE English and Maths Tutor

£20 - £30 Per hour

• Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in GCSE English and Maths
• Develop individualised learning plans to address specific needs and learning styles
• Manage challenging behaviour effectively in the learning environment
• Help to engage learners and foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure student progress

• Recognised teaching qualification
• Experience working with students with SEN
• Strong knowledge of GCSE English and Maths curriculum

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN

• Extensive experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills

This role involves working with students in their homes, potentially dealing with challenging behaviours. The tutor may need to work flexible hours to accommodate student schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
