We are seeking a dedicated English and Maths GCSE Outreach Tutor to join our team in Basildon, Essex. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing academic support to students in the East of England region. The role involves working with students to improve their understanding of English and Maths topics covered in the GCSE curriculum.

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students
  • Assess students' learning needs and develop tailored teaching plans
  • Provide support to students with challenging behaviour
  • Utilise SEN and SEMH experience to cater to diverse learning needs
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience in tutoring English and Maths at the GCSE level
  • Demonstrated ability to manage challenging behaviour
  • Experience working with students with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality tutoring sessions
  • Strong knowledge of the GCSE English and Maths curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Temporary position with Full-Time hours
