Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide academic support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the GCSE level
  • Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions to enhance students' understanding of various subjects
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and any additional support provided
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEN, particularly in a tutoring or teaching capacity
  • Knowledge of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a teaching or tutoring role
  • Understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support students with SEN
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and resources

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
