GCSE SEN Tutor

We are currently seeking a dedicated Tutor to join our team in Oxford, South East England. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) preparing for their GCSE examinations (English, Maths and Science). 

• Develop and implement personalised learning plans for students with SEN
• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons tailored to individual student needs
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Provide feedback and support to students to enhance their academic performance
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure student success

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with students with SEN
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
• Knowledge of SEN teaching strategies and accommodations
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs
• Experience using assistive technology in the classroom

This position is based in Oxford, South East England. The role involves working full-time hours. The tutor will work closely with students with SEN in a classroom setting or one-on-one sessions, providing support and guidance to help them succeed academically.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
