Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in GCSE English and Maths subjects
  • Create individualised lesson plans to cater to the specific learning needs of each student
  • Assess students' progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Work collaboratively with other educators and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Provide feedback to students and parents/guardians on progress and areas for improvement
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialist knowledge and experience in teaching GCSE English and Maths
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

At least 2 years of experience in teaching GCSE English and Maths, preferably with SEN students

  • Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching techniques to suit individual student needs
  • Organisational skills to plan and manage individualised learning programmes
  • Work in a home setting
  • Full-time hours with flexibility in schedule to accommodate student needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
