Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide specialised tutoring in English and Maths for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) preparing for GCSE exams
  • Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding and academic performance
  • Monitor and assess students' progress regularly, providing feedback and support as needed
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum in English and Maths

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
  • Experience using assistive technology to support learning

This role involves working with students in their homes, following set timetables and academic schedules. It may require some flexibility in working hours to accommodate students' needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
