Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide tailored GCSE English and Maths tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding and performance
  • Monitor and assess students' progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
  • Collaborate with SEN coordinators and other professionals to support students' holistic development
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialist knowledge in GCSE English and Maths curriculum
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in teaching GCSE English and Maths
  • Proven track record of successfully supporting students with SEN
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and accommodations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Organisational skills to manage individual learning plans effectively
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Experience in delivering outreach education programmes
  • Travelling to students' homes or designated locations
  • Full-time hours, with flexibility required to accommodate students' schedules

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
