Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide 1:1 tutoring to GCSE students in the East of England, specifically in Brentwood, Essex
  • Manage challenging behaviour effectively to create a conducive learning environment
  • Work with students with diverse Special Educational Needs (SEN) requirements
  • Plan and create engaging and stimulating educational resources tailored to individual student needs
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit the learning styles and abilities of each student
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents/guardians
  • Relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Demonstrated ability to manage challenging behaviour
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE students
  • Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to tailor learning approaches to individual student needs
  • Temporary position with Full-Time hours
  • Work primarily in educational settings such as the learners home or community centres
  • May require travel within the East of England region
  • Salary range of £20 - £30 per hour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
