Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective GCSE English and Maths lessons
  • Assess students' learning needs and create individualised learning plans
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their progress
  • Monitor and track student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
  • A relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience in tutoring GCSE English and Maths
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • A degree in Education or a related field
  • Specialisation in English and Maths
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching or tutoring
  • Proven track record of helping students achieve academic success
  • Strong understanding of the GCSE English and Maths curriculum
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively
  • Experience in preparing students for GCSE examinations
  • Additional certification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Work in a home setting or conduct online tutoring sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
