  • Plan and deliver high-quality tutoring sessions for students preparing for English and Maths GCSE exams
  • Create tailored lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to help them improve their understanding and performance
  • Identify areas of difficulty and provide additional support and resources as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
  • A relevant degree in English or Maths
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent)
  • Experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths at GCSE level

Experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths at GCSE level

  • Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum for English and Maths
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Additional qualifications in education or relevant subject areas
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
  • Part-Time hours, temporary position
  • Work closely with students on a one-on-one setting
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate student needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
